Our Mission
At Open Mynd Outreach, we believe every young mind deserves space, support, understanding, and opportunity. We believe in ability, not disability. Our mission is to open doors to safe, empowering, and inclusive environments for youth with autism, ADHD, sensory needs, trauma experiences, and developmental delays, as well as at-promise youth and justice-involved youth who deserve second chances, strong guidance, stability, advocacy, and a community that refuses to give up on them. We exist to help youth build confidence, discover their strengths, regulate emotions, and truly thrive through creativity, connection, mentorship, and meaningful community support.
We also open doors for youth who are not experiencing developmental challenges through Open Mynd Next Gen, teaching empathy, advocacy, leadership, life skills, entrepreneurship, and peer inclusion so they can stand beside their peers with respect and understanding. Our goal is to ensure every child regardless of background, ability, or experience feels seen, valued, supported, included, and capable of building a powerful and positive future.
